  1. For momos Dough
  2. 2 cup All-purpose flour
  3. 1/2 cup water
  4. 1/4 tsp salt
  5. For momos stuffing
  6. 1/2 cup grated carrots
  7. 1/2 cup grated cabbage
  8. 1/2 cup chopped onions
  9. 1/2 cup chopped capsicum
  10. 1/2 cup paneer
  11. 1 tbsp Red chilli sauce
  12. 1/2 tbsp soya sauce
  13. 1 tbsp chilli ginger garlic paste
  14. 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  15. 1/2 tsp salt
  16. 1 tsp Black pepper
  17. For momos Marination
  18. 1/2 cup Hung curd
  19. 1 tbsp mustard oil
  20. 1 tbsp roasted besan
  21. 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
  22. 1 tbsp Tandoori masala
  23. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  24. 2 tsp garlic powder or garlic paste
  25. 2 tsp Mint powder
  26. 1 tsp coriander powder
  27. 1 tsp kasuri methi
  28. 1/2 tsp salt
  29. As required Leave charcoal + ghee
  30. For grilling momos
  31. As required Bamboo skewers
  32. as required Marinated momos
  33. as required Diced Onions
  34. As needed- Diced Capsicum
  35. 1 tsp oil

Instructions to make to make Steamed paneer Tandoori momos

  1. For making tandoori momos we will start by make momo dough.
  2. In a mixing bowl add all three ingredient flour, salt and water as required and knead dough. Dough must be semi stiff. Further drizzle oil cover and rest it for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Further we shall prepare momos dough.
  4. In a muslin clothe add and mix the cabbage, onions carrots and salt, squeeze to remove excess moisture.
  5. In a mixing bowl add squeezed veggies, capsicum, paneer, salt, black pepper, red chilli, chilli sauce, soya sauce and chilli ginger garlic paste. Mix them all together.
  6. Further Knead dough once again and divide dough into equal portions. Flatten the dough balls and Roll them into a thin chapati. Cut them into around 3 inches circle using cutter or a lid.
  7. Place a spoon full of mixture and shape it to momos by pinching side it from one side in circular motion.
  8. Place momos in steamer and steam them for 15 minutes.
  9. Till momos gets steamed we need to start preparing marinate for tandoori momos.
  10. In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients for marination and mix them into lumps free paste.
  11. Add into marination steamed momos and mix with light hands and coat well with marination.
  12. Place leave charcoal and pour few drops of ghee. Cover and smoke momos for 2-3 minutes.
  13. Further we shall grill momos. For grilling Skew diced capsicum, momos and onions in the bamboo skewers.
  14. Heat up the pan and drizzle oil and cook momos each side till golden brown. You can also char grill on direct flame to get charred texture.
  15. Top up momoa with melted butter, chat masala, onions rings and lemon slices. Serve with sauce and green chutney.
